Yang (Helen) Feng v Dong Construction Limited

Ms Feng brought claims against Dong Construction Limited and its sole director, Dong Wang, after coming from China for a construction job with the company and receiving no work or wages. The Authority found she had not proved either respondent sought or received an employment premium, but held she was unjustifiably constructively dismissed, and later fixed costs. The company and Mr Wang challenged the determination in the Employment Court, where the one judgment on record deals with serving that challenge on Ms Feng in China.
