Rimple Rimple v NZ – KEBABS Limited

Rimple Rimple, a kitchen hand, brought claims against her former employer NZ – KEBABS Limited and three individuals, including unjustified dismissal and payment of an unlawful premium to secure her job. The Authority upheld most of her claims and later fixed costs; in the Employment Court, two of the individual respondents were refused an extension of time to challenge the determination and were ordered to pay costs. Ms Rimple had also filed her own challenge, limited to whether the premium could be recovered from the company.
