LGY v The Board of Trustees

LGY, a deputy principal, was dismissed by the Board of Trustees after the Board concluded she had used school money without authorisation to pay for event tickets for family members. The Authority granted her application for interim reinstatement pending investigation of her unjustified dismissal claim, and the matter went to the Employment Court on the Board's challenge. The Court dismissed the challenge and ordered LGY reinstated pending the Authority's substantive investigation.
