Fire and Emergency New Zealand v YQL

The employer, as applicant, sought to have a personal grievance brought by its employee, coded YQL, removed from the Employment Relations Authority to the Employment Court. YQL claims unjustified disadvantage over the employer's decision, after a review of the appointment, not to confirm YQL in a new group manager role. The Authority declined removal, and the Employment Court then granted special leave and ordered the proceedings removed; neither decision determines the grievance itself.
