Lovepreet Singh v Ariana Enterprises Limited

Lovepreet Singh, who came from India to work at a Timaru restaurant, brought claims in the Employment Relations Authority against his employer, Ariana Enterprises Limited, the company's director Bhupinder Kaur, and a third respondent. The Authority upheld claims for repayment of a premium for employment, for wage arrears and for unjustified disadvantage. Ariana Enterprises Limited and Ms Kaur challenged the determination in the Employment Court, where the parties settled and the Court set the determination aside by consent.
