Weta FX Limited v Brendan Cullen

Weta FX Limited sought declarations and penalties in the Employment Relations Authority against its former employee, Brendan Cullen, alleging breaches of post-employment, good faith and fidelity obligations over its confidential information. The Authority granted Mr Cullen's application to remove the whole matter to the Employment Court, where Judge J C Holden made consent orders on the company's application for an interim injunction. Neither decision determines the substantive matters, including Mr Cullen's personal grievance and the company's breach of contract claims.
