Hayden Stewart v Pulse 2012 Limited

Hayden Stewart, head chef at a café operated by Pulse 2012 Limited, claimed he was unjustifiably dismissed after being accused of using the café's kitchen and supplies for his own business. The Authority upheld the claim, reduced his compensation for contribution and imposed a penalty on the company, then fixed costs. Pulse 2012 Limited challenged both determinations in the Employment Court, where the judgments on record deal with security for costs, a stay of execution and interlocutory costs, not the challenge itself.
