Shalinee Dowlut v Aurecon New Zealand Limited

A project management consultant dismissed for serious misconduct brought personal grievances for unjustified dismissal and unjustified disadvantage, together with claims of discrimination, racial harassment, adverse conduct for a prohibited health and safety reason, unequal pay and retaliation over a protected disclosure. The Authority dismissed every claim and later ordered costs against her. Her two challenges in the Employment Court were stayed pending payment of security for costs, and the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court each declined leave to appeal.
