Rebecca Young v Bourson Limited
Rebecca Young, a café assistant, brought personal grievances against her employer, Bourson Limited. The Authority upheld three unjustified disadvantage grievances but not her constructive dismissal claim, fixed costs and, when nothing was paid, made compliance orders against the company and its current and former directors. The directors' challenge in the Employment Court was dismissed for want of prosecution, and the Authority later ordered payment of costs still outstanding.
