Ahmed Alkazaz v DeloitteAsparona Limited, Asparona Limited and Deloitte Limited

Ahmed Alkazaz brought claims against his former employer and two other companies after his employment ended in 2016 under a record of settlement that a mediator had certified under s 149 of the Employment Relations Act 2000. The Authority held the record of settlement binding and enforceable, rejected his personal grievance claims, and declined to impose penalties. The Employment Court later set that determination aside, substituted its own judgment to the same effect on the settlement, and awarded the defendants costs.
