James Hilford v The Order of St John Northern Region Trust Board

An ambulance officer's personal grievance claims against his employer, over an alleged unsafe workplace and his dismissal. The Authority found an unjustified disadvantage and an unjustified dismissal, and awarded remedies and costs. The employer then brought a challenge in the Employment Court, which has so far granted a stay of execution by consent; the decisions reached do not decide the challenge itself.
