Pamela Sheath v The Selwyn Foundation and Selwyn Care Limited
Pamela Sheath, a chaplain at a retirement village, claimed against The Selwyn Foundation and Selwyn Care Limited that unpaid insurance and pension fund contributions breached her employment agreement and that a refused salary increase disadvantaged her unjustifiably. The Employment Relations Authority dismissed both claims, and the matter went to the Employment Court as a challenge to the determination. The Court then gave a consent judgment: the parties resolved all issues between them and agreed to the determination being set aside.
