Ingrid Kim, Labour Inspector v Hurunui Hotel (2004) Limited

A Labour Inspector applied to the Employment Relations Authority for an order that a hotel company comply with an improvement notice over a former employee's unpaid holiday pay. The Authority recorded a consent determination, then made a compliance order when the payments were not made, and later held it had no jurisdiction to award a penalty. All three decisions are the Authority's.
