Ritchie Stewart and Raymond Johnstone v The Salvation Army
Ritchie Stewart and Raymond Johnstone claimed that their individual employment agreements with the Salvation Army entitled them to five weeks' annual leave a year rather than four. The Employment Relations Authority found in their favour, and the Employment Court dismissed the Salvation Army's challenge to that determination. Both decisions found each employee entitled to a week of leave in addition to the statutory entitlement.
