Kerry Paul v Waikato Honey Products Limited

Kerry Paul brought a claim that his former employer, Waikato Honey Products Limited, had breached an agreement to pay him $200,000 to settle his rights to a shareholding, a cash bonus, and any claims arising from the end of his employment. The Authority found the agreement bound the company and ordered payment of the $200,000 plus interest, declined the company's later application to reopen the investigation, and awarded Mr Paul $5,000 in costs once the parties could not agree them between themselves.
